Our story

Rescue has always been in our nature.

Long before the first hive, our family was taking in dogs and cats that needed another chance. When we found an abandoned apiary in 2024, caring for those struggling colonies felt like a natural continuation of that story.

What began with a handful of weak, pest-affected hives has grown through patient care, research and many long days in the Florida heat. Today, ComBEEnation rescues bees, manages healthy apiaries and shares the honey they can safely spare.

Our small-batch honey comes from South Florida colonies we inspect and nurture throughout the year. Here the bloom is too mixed to promise a single flower - it is honest local wildflower honey. We harvest responsibly, leaving the bees what they need before taking anything for ourselves.

Swarm / colony removal & clean-up

Bees, combs and honey removed with specialized vacuum equipment. Stray bees vacuumed, honey cleaned to prevent mold.

Opening drywall, siding or flooring to reach the hive cavity, when the colony lives inside the structure.

Things people ask us

Clear answers about live removal, what happens to the bees, and how our work differs from pest control.

Do you kill the bees?

Never. Not one, not with chemicals, not "just this once". If a colony can't be removed safely, we would rather turn the job down than harm the bees.

Where do the bees go?

To our apiaries in Davie - certified beekeepers, apiaries inspected by the Florida Department of Agriculture (FDACS). There they're nursed back to strength and become part of our local honey production.

Why not just call pest control?

Spraying a colony leaves poisoned honey and dead brood rotting inside your wall - and the queen's pheromone keeps attracting new swarms to the same spot. Removal solves the problem; extermination hides it.

Will the bees come back?

Honest answer: the scent left behind can attract scout bees. We remove the combs and honey, clean the area, and show you exactly which entry points to seal so a new swarm doesn't move in.
